The Committee have agreed that, after a number of years trying to re-negotiate a new lease with the brewery and
sustaining a number of end-of-year losses on the Bar
Account that Laugharne Rugby Football Club will cease Trading at the Fountain Inn Club House on 4th January, 2016.
The Tenancy will return to Felinfoel Brewery Ltd on the 5th January, 2016 and Laugharne RFC will no longer trade as landlord at that location.
The Rugby Club finances are still strong and we intend to continue providing sport to the Laugharne Township and surrounding area. Returning the Tenancy to the Brewery will remove the constant end-of-year bar losses and
secure the future of the Rugby Club.
It has now been agreed that the
New Home of Laugharne RFC will be at the
Cross House Inn.
We hope that the community and all our sponsors will
continue to support the Club at this location and through the Weekly Tote which goes to pay for the Rugby at all
levels.
